1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and AAW Technologies regarding your use of DutyMate. By installing, accessing or using DutyMate, you agree to these Terms and to the DutyMate Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use DutyMate. If you use DutyMate on behalf of an employer or organization, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to do so and to accept these Terms in connection with that use.
2. What DutyMate provides
DutyMate is a duty-roster viewing, organization, history, reporting and collaboration application. Depending on the features and plan you use, DutyMate may provide Personal Mode, Professional Mode, roster import and sync, reports, PDF or Excel export, Google backup and restore, Premium features and Team Workspace.
DutyMate is a productivity tool. It does not replace an employer's official roster, attendance system, payroll system, employment records, safety procedures or legal obligations. Where DutyMate and an official organizational record differ, you should verify the official source before relying on the app for an important decision.
3. Roster data and your responsibilities
You are responsible for the roster source, file, link, employee information and other content that you choose to import, connect, create or share through DutyMate. You should only use roster information that you are permitted to access and process.
DutyMate may calculate summaries, duty hours, leave totals, shift counts, history and reports from the data available to the app. Calculations depend on the accuracy, completeness, shift mappings, dates and source data provided. You should review important calculations before using them for payroll, compliance, disciplinary, contractual or other high-impact purposes.
Professional Mode and Team Workspace can expose information about multiple employees. You must ensure that your use of those features is authorized by the relevant organization and is consistent with applicable privacy, employment and workplace requirements.
4. Google accounts, identity and security
Some DutyMate features use Google Sign-In, Google Play services, Google Drive app data or Google Play Integrity. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account, device and access credentials.
You must not attempt to impersonate another person, bypass profile or subscription protections, defeat integrity checks, interfere with account linking, or use another person's entitlement without authorization.
DutyMate may use account-linked profile protections, server-side records and integrity checks to reduce abuse and to preserve Premium or Workspace identity across reinstallations or device changes.
6. Advertising
Eligible Free Personal Mode users may see advertising supplied through Google AdMob. Advertising may include banner, interstitial and App Open formats. Premium plans intended to be ad-free will not intentionally show Personal Mode ads while a valid ad-free entitlement is active.
Ad availability is not guaranteed. Ads may fail to load, may not be available in every region or session, and may be affected by privacy choices, connectivity, Google services and advertiser demand.
7. Team Workspace
Team Workspace is a shared organizational feature. Workspace owners and authorized managers are responsible for inviting appropriate members, assigning suitable roles, managing roster information and ensuring that uploaded employee data may lawfully be processed.
Workspace roles may control who can view, edit, publish, export or administer roster information. You must not attempt to exceed your assigned permissions or access a Workspace that you are not authorized to use.
A Workspace owner may reset or delete Workspace data through supported DutyMate controls. Some limited security, integrity, billing, abuse-prevention or deletion records may be retained where reasonably necessary for service operation, dispute handling, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
8. Backup, restore and exported files
Google backup and restore is an optional feature for eligible users. Backup availability depends on the connected Google account, Google Drive app-data services, network access and DutyMate compatibility. You should not treat DutyMate as the only copy of information that your organization is required to retain.
PDF, Excel or other exports are created at your request. Once you save, share, print or send an exported file outside DutyMate, you are responsible for how that file is stored, protected and distributed.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse DutyMate. This includes attempting to access data without permission, bypass Premium controls, manipulate billing or integrity systems, disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected service mechanisms where prohibited by law, upload malicious content, automate abusive traffic, or use DutyMate to violate another person's rights.
You must not use DutyMate in a way that could compromise the security, availability or lawful operation of DutyMate, Google services, Cloudflare services, an employer's systems or another user's device or data.
10. Intellectual property
DutyMate, its software, branding, design, original documentation and related AAW Technologies materials are owned by or licensed to AAW Technologies, except for third-party materials and services that remain the property of their respective owners.
These Terms give you a limited right to use DutyMate for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of DutyMate or grant permission to copy, resell, sublicense or distribute the app except where expressly allowed by law or by AAW Technologies.
11. Third-party services
DutyMate may depend on third-party services including Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform and Cloudflare. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, availability limits and technical changes.
AAW Technologies is not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable, changing its requirements or restricting an account, although DutyMate may be updated where reasonably possible to maintain compatibility.
12. Service availability, updates and changes
AAW Technologies may update DutyMate to fix bugs, improve performance or security, add or remove features, maintain compatibility, comply with platform rules or protect the service from abuse.
DutyMate may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network problems, device limitations, third-party outages or other events outside AAW Technologies' reasonable control. Continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Some features may require a current version of DutyMate or supported versions of Android, Google Play services or other dependencies.
13. Suspension or termination
You may stop using DutyMate at any time. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions through the store through which they were purchased.
AAW Technologies may restrict access to cloud, Workspace, Premium or security-sensitive features where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, integrity failures, non-payment, security risks or a material violation of these Terms.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
DutyMate is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, AAW Technologies does not guarantee that every roster source will always be interpreted perfectly, that every third-party integration will always be available, or that every calculation or report will be suitable for every workplace requirement.
You remain responsible for checking official roster, employment, payroll and organizational records where accuracy is important. DutyMate should not be used as the sole basis for emergency, safety-critical, payroll, legal or disciplinary decisions without appropriate verification.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AAW Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use DutyMate, loss of data, third-party service interruption, unauthorized sharing of exported files, or reliance on unverified roster information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Privacy
How DutyMate handles personal information is described in the DutyMate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing your use of DutyMate.
16. Changes to these Terms
AAW Technologies may update these Terms when DutyMate features, subscriptions, service providers, legal requirements or operating practices change. The effective date on this page will be updated when revised Terms are published.
If a change materially affects your use of DutyMate, additional notice may be provided in the app or through another appropriate channel where required.
17. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer, privacy or other statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
